    Stonewall's is a rare blast from the past. The kitchen is filled with sweet, friendly ladies cooking seriously southern, home-style fare.

    For me, the spicy chicken sandwich is unbeatable. Everything is homemade, the sweet tea is out of this world, and all of it (as far as I can tell) tastes amazing!

    Beware of limited hours and bring cash, but otherwise, find this place and dig in. It's absolutely worth the trip outside of town, especially if you're just passing through.

    This mom 'n pop restaurant is a great little find! Today was our first visit. Very small inside but there are a few tables and booths as well as a take-out window for to go orders. Note: Cash or check ONLY, so be prepared. The prices are great and include sales tax. Be sure to try the fried okra. It was by far the best I've ever had! Can't wait to go back one Saturday to try their BBQ.
